Greg Wilson is the new Director of the Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning and the Design Teacher at GEMS World Academy Chicago. Prior to working at GEMS, he was the director of the innovation lab at Ross School in East Hampton, New York. He has developed technology, design and innovation learning environments for a wide range of students ranging from kindergarten to adults. He received a doctorate in learning, design and technology from the University of Georgia, a master’s degree in computer science from Virginia Tech and a bachelor's in computer science from Georgia Tech. His mission is to empower students to develop solutions that positively impact the world.

Outside of GEMS, Gregory enjoys music, sports, traveling and spending time with his wife, Ashley, and three kids: Hanan, August-Gregory, and Arrow.
