David teaches Mandarin to the LS and incorporates his music, cooking, and art into the classroom. He has taught K-12 Mandarin in various settings and also has experience teaching ESL. David has worked closely with professors at Indiana University Bloomington and is still connected with the Startalk and Language Flagship Programs. He graduated from Indiana University Bloomington with a focus on early childhood language acquisition as well as LCLE (Literacy, Culture, Language, Education). David is also closely connected into the Chicago Chinese Community, being the co-owner of the bubble tea franchises: UniUni and Elite Boba.
