Alexis Dixon is excited to be entering into her 6th year at GEMS World Academy - Chicago. She is a Middle School Language and Literature and Upper School Theater teacher. Alexis attended the University of Iowa, where she received her bachelor's degree in English, and attended DePaul University to obtain her master’s degree for secondary education. She began teaching as a full-time substitute teacher across many Chicago schools and developed a love of engaging with children. She is thrilled to bring a passion for life and learning into the classroom and create wonderful memories and learning experiences while helping her classes grow and flourish!
